so saucer was out of every single pumpkin ale tonight, cottonwood, weyerbacher, and quite a few others, not to mention a list of about 10 more popular beers

it sucks because I was just about to order the Weyerbacher and when she came to take the order they had just run out of it as well

^^^^ Should have gotten there early. I got an Imperial Pumpkin and then for our second round my girlfriend ordered one, but they were already out of it. Needless to say, I rubbed this in her face.

The Smuttynose was better than the Brooklyn. I enjoyed the hoppy finish of the Smuttynose

Weyerbacher is pretty good, but I tend to like the Dogfish, Cottonwood, and Saranac varieties better. I did have one similar to the Weyerbacher this year, but I forget what it was. If you like that type of pumpkin ale you'd totally dig it. I'll try to find out what it was -- they had a bunch at Lighthouse.

Hoptober is pretty tasty too.

Just finished a Weyerbacher and it was far superior to any of the pumpkin ales I've had this year. I couldn't find it in PA (most places were sold out) but picked it up in VA.

Wat? I found it in Tryon. If they're selling it all the way out there it's going to be in Gboro somewhere.

there are two distributors for Big Boss...one covers Raleigh to the coast and the other covers the Mountains. GSO is stuck in no mans land.
