my cousin and are are pretty close in age and for a couple of years they did the "who can get the other kid the most obnoxious gift" game. It ended with a drum setthis kid looks so happy

^^^^^ That is the first piece of Neil Peart soloing that I have ever enjoyed. As for this kid, whatever. I'm glad he's having fun, because that's what music is really about, but if you think he's doing anything more than vaguely approximating the rhythms and sounds he's hearing on those records, you're kidding yourself. Calling him a drummer is like calling a parrot a talker because it can mimic speech.

Should I be surprised that the wolfweb music elitists are talking shit about *toddlers*?A 4 year old toddler. You are seriously hating on a small child. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you people?

I'm not hating on him.He did a damn good job of pretending to play the drums, especially for a kid his age. However, he in no way, shape, or form "PWN"ed that song.I think some of you underestimate how good the average child can be at a musical instrument.

I was more referring to the hating on the first page, than you specifically. I have no idea how good he was at that song, I don't listen to system of a down.I just don't get why some people feel the need to talk shit about a 4 year old.

Just look at the clip. He's off time within four measures when the tom rolls start and when the straight beat kicks in he's off in less than three. It's a reasonably difficult song and he's four years old; these things I understand. However, I'd be much more impressed by a four year old who can keep a straight 4/4 beat in time for two minutes (which is something most rock drummers can't do) than I am by this kid hacking at some metal wackiness and missing half the time.
