I don't see anything wrong with it I guess.. my mom and stepdad are 11 years apart and I don't care so I think it would be pretty hypocritical to be like WHAT GROSS

but, at the same time, they met when he was 27 and she was 38... which I think aren't too far off as far as "where you are in your life." I think you're at a completely different stage of your life at 18 than you are at 27.

There's no way I could do it. I recently broke up with the hottest girl I'll probably ever date...and the main reason was because she was 4 years younger than me (26 and 22). Just too many factors contribute to an age difference at this point in my life. I'm sure I could easily date a 28 year old if I'm 35...but as someone who is trying to start a career, purchase a house, settle down (somewhat)...it's almost impossible to date someone who's just getting out of college (much less starting college...18 really??) and has no plan what to do with their life but waiting tables, treading water, and going out all the time.

As far as the fucking goes...I'm sure it's nice to bang out some 18-year old snatch with a tight body...but I've found even tighter bodies in the late 20s/early 30s range. And unless you're dating a porn star...older women are always better in the sack....always.

4 years younger is one of those things that seems crazy in college, fathomable in your 20's, and not a big deal at all after the younger one is say 25 or so

11 years younger will always be a big deal, till she's like 35+

my 18 year old girlfriend also comes from money, but her parents raised her to earn what she has, and she works incredibly hard for it. she may not be at the same stage in life that i am, but planning for the future is a big thing for her and she is ready for it.

so, you must have been doing something wrong.



and FWIW i was hooked up a 22 y.o gal when i was 28. 6 year age diff, and wound up being one of the most disastrous on-off relationships i ever had, over an almost 2-year period.

the sex was good, but not worth the level of [crazy] that came with it. any gal that dates outside her reasonable age range has "daddy issues" and is at most two steps away from full-out crazy and the guys who are seeing them have their own security problems.

it just winds up being a waste of time you could be pursuing something more productive.

eh, a little questionable... but for that age group still on this side of reasonable. 23 y.o. guys are still pretty young and she could be relatively more mature than then average 18 yo.
