numerous other cities impose similar regulations, its nothing new or dramatic

^^I don't live in Cary, I live in Raleigh, and that is one of the reasons why. I was not whining, I was explaining my thoughts. Way to be a douche though

how to make your house look? You mean neighborhoods with HOAs? Yeah - thats not Cary, thats a company that imposes those regulations.

There is a bright pink house in the very neighborhood they are talking about in this thread

Sounds like the myth that Cary controls the live's of it's residents is still alive and strong

^Cary tried like hell to get them to paint it a more neutral color. Stimwalt's parents live next door to the pink house, and he can tell you why Cary failed to get them to change the color. i can't remember why it didn't work, but they tried!

i hear Joie sticks it to the Cary People and blatantly disregards the rules by having a big plastic flamingo in her front yard
