I drove day to day in NYC traffic all the time with my manual transmissioned car. Sure it was annoying but well worth it for always having a transmission do exactly what you want it to do, as well as allow you more car control.

I too tried to teach a girlfriend how to drive stick. It...did not end well.

jus10 taught me how, but his 1st gear is faulty in his truck so i haven't driven in awhile...he doesn't let anyone drive his truck anymore

Multiple people have attempted to teach me how to drive stick...I just have no interest in it though. Seems like too much work/effort, when you know you can just buy an automatic & have it be easier! I'm all about convenience.

as long as you get over when someone does want to get around i have no problem with left lane driving. but if you are doing everything else at the same time i imagine you wouldnt notice my angry hand trying to wave you over.

I've driven everything from motorcycles to Mack trucks.

If a chick can drive a twin stick Mack (and be hot too), that's major points in my book.

Wimmens that can't drive a stick of any type...your hot points diminish somewhat. However, be it noted that I can teach ANYONE to drive a manual...and have taught many to do so.

blue ridge parkway is an awesome ride. i have ridden it in several different sections and it is beautiful. every once in a while it gets sketchy with gravel. other than that it is great
