good lord my email was fucking flooded with matches. i had to cancel the damn account, it was ridiculous.

i think it's just a ploy to get you to pony up some cash to find out who these so-called "matches" are.

Geez, how in the world did you get 110 matches? I only had like 45. I must be undesirable

I did, however, make it to open communication with 3 and snagged one from putting my email in my profile. So 4 new people to chat/hang with.



^ HAHAHA, YES. Had a similar problem. Made the mistake of cutting my peek off one night and it blew up the next morning. You can set it to stop matching you when you reach a certain number. Or you can turn it off completely by clicking the button of the left side of your home screen.

i wish there was an "x" you could just click to get rid of the people in your "new matches" section. they are still there even if i click "close match" and it wants me to give a reason for closing. i'm also at 110 matches and its overwhelming, theres no way i can look at all of those profiles and answer all the questions and keep up with who's who

Yea, honestly I didn't pay attention until the stage 4 short answer things. The rest of the time I was "Send that chick my must haves" mentality. Just click them buttons.

Their 'close' system is freaking RETARDED. And they don't disappear until the OTHER person closes, and sends a reply.

eHarmony doesn't do personality matching for gay individuals. They attribute this to:
1) Lack of research on homosexual match-making
2) The end-goal of eHarmony being marriage (homosexual marriage is in only a handful of states)

eHarmony recently did launch a site for same-sex couples, "Compatible Partners". Match.com is still the largest dating site in the world and also allows same-sex pairing. eHarmony has the matching algorithm, which seems to be quite good from a number of stories I have heard. I know several successful (although unmarried) couples that have met through both services.
