SGLI is pretty cheap. The difference between 100k and 400k is like 5/10 bucks a month.

It's a little better today. Doc said it's fine, just a nasty hematoma. No infection. He said to apply hot compresses to it. It receeded about 1 inch on my forearm and what was purple is now green.

you should maybe get checked out for a clotting disorder, I've never seen a bruise that bad even with "the fishing out a vein" (I know, I had someone fishing on my the other day for practice). see von wildebrands (unless you have been taking aspirin, ibuprofen, etc)

I'm pretty sure I'm fine because i've never had issues like this and they test pretty well when you first get to boot camp.
