imho: we can do 1 of 2 things (that actually DO something rather than nothing) 1 - build a wall, man it, and actually hardcore enforce our laws or 2 - (which i prefer) open up immigration to open immigration with tracking, taxing, and rejection (Ellis island for instance) (rejection based on a variety of reasons, disease being one of them)

quarantine them for a few weeks in a rotating 'camp like system' that provides US orientation, driving tests, english literacy tests, math tests, cultural classes, etc. basically try to get them connected to a job they are qualified for at least, get them in the system, and get them being productive tax generating little drones

Well said. I'm sick of everyone being offended by everything. Our nation is going to become like the Christmas episode of South Park where there were no decorations for any holidays because the athiest, Jews, and Christains were offended by everything that wasn't a part of their belief system. That left them with nothing but shit (Mr. Hanky).

As for Illegal Aliens, I don't like them being here because they are getting free hand outs (WIC, EBT, Food Stamps) that I am paying for. I wouldn't mind them being here, if there were no social programs and public health funded by the government, but thanks to President Johnson there are a lot of them.

Exactly! On top of that my mom always has them come in her hospital (she's a nurse) and they get free public health. Then they get out and don't pay their hospital bill and they can't be found. This is one of the reasons health insurance rates go up in America every year. I read an article about a month ago that said one hospital in Texas loses over $200 million every year because of the illegals having babies and getting free health care. If they do become legal then it will just be more people draining the Medicaid budget.

We have a path to citizenship. You just have to follow the rules and wait for years! Seriously, go to the AILA website if you want some information. Depending on your relationship and status it can take a few months and you're here legally, or it can take a few years. There isn't a good reason to break the rules.

One of the ways they're thinking about reforming the immigration system is to take out the 4th category of Family Based IV (Siblings of USC) and Religious Workers (EB4). Sure there is. It just will take him longer. If you look at the Visa Bulletin for Employment Based, they're backlogged by several years. So, if his only factor is labor, then it may not ever be worth it.

But if he's got a brother/sister/child/parent/spouse in the US, then his time will be much shorter. But if he comes over without inspection and stays more than 180 days there's a 3 year bar on him coming into the US if he ever wants to do it legally. If he stays for a year, it's a 10 year bar.

They are destroying the construction industry by under cutting the American workers like my dad (he's a carpenter). When my parents built their first house in NC, a brick crew of 5 black men from the USA did their brick work and my parents could still afford the house.
