if it your first time, you should have mild flavored fish, like a white fish, and definitely some salmon. tuna is too strong. as is mackerel.

^salmon is way fishier than tuna...the only fish i eat is tuna bc its not fishy tasting at all.

i would give you that it is 'fishier' (whatever that means!), but the intensity of the taste is lower than that of tuna's.

and salmon is healthier, in fact, the healthiest (except for sardines and other tiny oily fish).

Mmmmm sashimi ftw. Not a huge fan of rice. Salmon and white tuna are the best.

For those who claim sushi gets too expensive, check out restaurant.com when they're selling gift certificates for 90 percent off the standard price. My gf and I will spend a dollar on a 25 dollar gift certificate (total order must come to at least 35 bucks), so in all we spend about 12 bucks (not including tip) on a 35 dollar meal.
