My friend actually said it perfectly. The reason that so many females are in love with these characters is because they are NOT human males. You know, Mike, in the story he acts like a normal teenage guy acts, we all got that in high school and none of the girls are like I wanna see mike more! Then you bring these two guys into the mix, a vampire that will love you for as long as there is time because he won't ever die unless he pisses off the main vamps and a shape shifter who is hot and warm....

I think it's more likely that the girls that are seriously (I mean true obsession, not "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?" attraction) into the characters are vapid and the same girls that go to Meredith to bide their time finding a husband while filling in their hope chest.

OH GOD....commence the kill yourself comments because I LOVE IT!!! SHIT! I think I have an inner conflict now with who I love more....Jacob or Edward. That kid that plays Jacob really developed that character and shit, he is a damn good actor. He had me swooning all over the fucking place. I am not talking about his body here, he def can act some damn Jacob love for Bella. I totally get the lame Team Edward/Team Jacob thing now.

I would have to say I like this director better too. I think filming without the blue filter this time still gave a natural gloomy enough effect that I believed the Cullens could live there.

I am prob going to see it again.
