How are Mississippi and Alabama not the worst? Does 3 feet of coastline make up for shitty cities, horrible heat/humidity, foul smell, bad water, massive bugs, lowest per-capita income, and utter lack of literacy? There are no great cities (I've been to Jackson), no worthwhile mountains, no great sports teams I can think of, no highly regarded universities...am I missing something that redeems them? Please correct me.
