Trust me, I'm all too familiar with this. My house has been robbed here. Most of my friends here have had their homes burglarized at some point.

When I was living there, I never got the impression that I was in danger. I lived off Aloma Ave. and in Baldwin Park, so obviously not the roughest spots, but still.

^ I lived near Baldwin Park before when my house was robbed, but it was the neighbor's kids who robbed the place. They stole all my underwear and a couple of my dresses and all of our blinds and a double bottle of cooking wine. That's all. It was uber creepy. It took me a year to be able to sleep alone after that.

Now I live in Winter Park. Much safer.
