I guess I have BobbyDigital to thank, because I never would have thought of the bucket otherwise

It was very much still alive and I had a putter in one hand and a bat in the other, and I likely would have made quite a mess of it





I still have the other traps put in case he had an entourage, but nothing's happened since Friday, so I think I'm in the clear

Drowning them is so sad and wasteful.. You guys should donate them to someone who needs to feed their snake instead

I lived in a house in NW DC (columbia heights) and had to set many of them. They're easy! But I would come in the house drunk and set them off... it hurt.

I live in a luxury apt building now though, and haven't seen a bug or mouse in over a year.


^^^ Once I used a glue trap and the feisty fucker struggled so hard he RIPPED HIS GD LEG OFF.

It was disgusting.

The glue traps are probably cleaner and more reliable than the spring traps, but you still have to kill the bastard afterwards.

The spring traps on the other hand, while the mouse can sometimes steal the PB without setting off the trap, are brutally effective when they do work. I've seen one completely decapitate a mouse. The head was laying on the floor about 6 inches from the body. Not pretty, not at all.
