I felt so bad the other day because I was clipping Gambit's nails and he yelped and pulled back (he's mostly black and has black nails)

Then I looked at his paw and bitch wasn't even bleeding and I didn't even hit the quick!!! Little faker

i haven't gotten any better about nail clipping, i try to leave that to the vet if i can

when i worked at a vet i'd have to straddle the big doggies to get them to sit still while i trimmed

cause that was when i was in HS and weighed like 80-90lbs

and some of those doggies were pushing 60 and 70!!
