as far as i can tell the laptop is doing good. nice good, big hd display. fist time i've messed with windows 7 so im still figuring it out.

bout to head back up to raleigh were i can play with it some more.

i wouldnt say its a top-of-the-line laptop, but deffff worth the 197 i payed for it.

my roommate bought the sony viaso that they had, we'll let u know how it is

they reported on it in the 11pm news last night. there were people lined up at 6pm to get into YANKEE CANDLE at 9am. what in the hell is so damn great about a candle that you're going to wait in line 15 hours to get?? i was absolutely dumbfounded. they're candles. candles. all they do is smell. they had signs up for 4 for $44. that doesn't sound like much of a deal imo.

Yep. It's always like that on Black Friday. We will heading there in a little while.
All the stores usually open at Midnight on Black Friday. However, this year, their are some stores opening at 10pm.

YES. all i did was shop for myself. I already presents picked out, and they aren't in stores on special.

the nice thing about Black Friday and shopping for your own stuff - no lines in the fitting room. 200 people in Old Navy and I got to waltz right in to the rooms like 3x

do you have hearing problems? they said and they showed the people in the store which opened at 10pm. smithfield outlets open typically at midnight, but a few stores opened a hour or two earlier than that. the news even showed them only letting 15 people in at a time.

We got to Smithfield around 12:30pm. It was still crazy. Parking lot was full. Cars parked up and down the road. We got a spot at the Chamber of Commerce Tourist place beside the Cracker Barrel. Their was line going out of the Coach Outlet. I don't know what the big sale was but their were alot of people waiting to get in. We did find some great deals.

coach keeps the number of people in the store at a certain number. i think it's for security reasons. i'm sure a lot of stuff gets stolen.

and honestly, there weren't that many great deals at the coach outlet that i went too

(shockingly enough - i wasn't even tempted to buy one for myself)

i ended up going shopping at 1 pm..walked in to sam's club and got the same tomtom that was in wal-marts ad for $59 at $58 in store....

then went to hhgregg and they pretty much kept the doorbuster prices during the day..I got a sony cybershot for $100
