there is a tendency for people to care more about the birthdays of those close to them. If any of my other friends self admittedly enjoyed their acquaintance's birthday over my own (or any of their closer friends) i would be surprised.

we are doing the "Second Circle New Years" again this year. Its a private party for friends and friends of friends. basically, if you don't know some one there that we know then you aren't invited. its a way to keep the pricks and douche bags away. we will be renting out an undisclosed location in raleigh nowhere near downtown. downtown sucks NYE.
