except that she wouldn't be doing no such thing or remotely equivalent to it (even by a factor of a million) if she were to clean it the way i suggested and then use it. yeah, i wouldn't recommend that she take the tube out of the toilet using her prehensile tongue.

if exaggeration is the game, you win.

not all toothpastes have anti-bacterial stuff in them. only a few do, and are labeled as such. (usually triclosan)

granted yes
but some things are naturally antibacterial.(ie hypertonic substances-like honey with only lends itself to botulism spores).

i wonder if toothpaste is one.

just thought I should point out that "on a toilet seat" and "in the fucking toilet" are quite different

only on TWW would there be a two page thread devoted to arguing over whether or not to throw away opened toothpaste that fell in the toilet.

^^^ because this is no longer about the toothpaste. It is about who is smarter and can school the other person on how uneducated they are in the microbiological and immunological arena

"Because of molecules we are connected to the outside world from our bodies. Like when you smell things, because when you smell a smell it's not really a smell, it's a part of the object that has come off of it, molecules. So when you smell something bad, it's like in a way you're eating it. This is why you should not really smell things, in the same way that you don't eat everything in the world around you because as a smell, it gets inside of you. So the next time you go into the bathroom after someone else has been there, remember what kinds of molecules you are in fact eating."

i brushed with oxyclean once.

You know that old toothbrush you have under your cabinet you use to scrub stains with? Well I had been scrubbing a stain with it, left it on my bathroom counter, and then later that night my toothpaste had the weirdest taste............

For me, Optimum has been the surprise star of this thread, because

made me laugh, and because I did not know until now that Optimum was a homosexual.

[Edited on December 7, 2009 at 12:48 AM. Reason : I know so few homosexuals. Finding a new one is like finding a rare fossil that fucks guys.]
