All these are PS3 exclusives that are coming out next year.

halo is great and everything, but it's only one exclusive series. and i don't really think the 360 controller is better. hell, it's really not a whole lot different than the original xbox controller, which is kind of based off of playstation's. then again, i guess you could say playstation's was based off of the SNES controller. it's simple, and it works. that's why they haven't felt the need to change it for the last 3 generations of systems.

^ FFXIII is coming out for 360 too. uh oh Golovko. japanese graphics headed your way.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is the exclusive I'm looking forward too.

Mass Effect also, but it's not really an exclusive (just not coming to PS3, Xbox and Windows only)

[Edited on December 6, 2009 at 8:51 PM. Reason : I'd be lying if I said I didn't want God of War or Uncharted 2, but not enough to buy a PS3]

Halo Wars is the only title that's been successful at being a console RTS, and it's not just because it says Halo in it. It's a fun game that was decently supported.

another exclusive that's pretty fun: Crackdown

i'll take uncharted, resistance, killzone, little big planet, metal gear solid 4, and god of war collectively as exclusives over what's available on 360. and xbox live might be a better online service, but i've been extremely pleased with call of duty mw2 on playstation network. it has issues sometimes, but does it beat paying 50 extra dollars a year for online service? yep.

^^ what's there to laugh about? microsoft explicitly went out and gathered people's opinions of its competitors' controllers when designing the original xbox controller.

50 bucks a year is 4 a month. I wipe my ass with 4 dollars a month. At a minimum wage job that's half a hour of work pre-taxes. Costs SO MUCH MONEY.

haha i don't care. it's basically like buying a game twice. it's just not worth it to me unless the online service is just absolute shit. and like i said, the only game i play online with ps3 is mw2, and playstation network has been very good with it considering it doesn't cost anything to play.

I think $50 a year is a small price to pay for Live service.

Although I am jealous of the PS3's wireless built in. I'm sure as hell not paying $90 for a wireless adapter for my xbox, so I have a long ass wire running through my house.

I don't like the feel or weight of the 360 controllers. The weight issue is probably because I have the sixaxis controllers without the dualshock feature, so my controllers are extremely light. Everyone with a 360 mentions when they pick up my controllers how light they are.

this is true. I just wish sony could sell licensing to Microsoft for this new battery they invented that never loses a charge. Just think if they could some how get it in laptops too! wow.

^I know, right! I only bought a PS3 so I can sit it next to my Xbox360 and let the PS3 feel inferior and shame.

Nice thing about removable rechargeable batteries: if they die I can have a spare and don't have to go corded/stop playing. plus, if the battery is faulty I can just buy a new battery rather than a new controller (50 bucks vs. what... 10?)

i'd imagine sony would probably replace a faulty controller for you for free, but i haven't looked up the specifics. most companies will do that for you though.

My NES ate shit a long time ago, but the SNES and N64 and Gamecube still run strong. Wii only had an issue when I got it and since then has run flawlessly.

But the king shit that I have had almost as long as I've been alive is my Atari 2600 and it still runs like the day it was new.

my hands are most likely bigger than yours, and the controller fits me just fine. if anything, the 360 controller fits smaller hands better.

regarding replaceable batteries and the battery going dead - I can go 2 days of almost constant gaming without having to recharge the PS3 controller. if you need it to go longer than that, you should seek treatment for your crystal meth addiction.

if it ends up dying long before it's supposed to then that's kind of an indication of a flaw in the product.

Biggest problem with ps3 controllers is they are behind in the times. Sure they have their decent format that worked pretty well 13 years ago, but games have moved on in their control scheme and they haven't adapted to them.

Analog stick is used more often than d-pad now, it should be moved to the premier location. Triggers are also better than shoulder buttons in many situations. But if shoulder buttons are better for a certain situation, the 360 still has them.

Plus the 360 controller just fits my hand better and more comfortably. The 360 feels like I'm holding a pistol, while they ps3 feels like I'm holding an ice cream cone.

you also dont have to buy a second controller just to get force feedback. It comes with it out of the box.

How'd you manage that? Those things are invincible! You just gotta learn how to work it properly. My brother still has the one my family got back in like 1990. We had to take off the top so we could properly wiggle the cartridges in the cradle And the blow on the cartridge and then throw it at the wall method still works like a charm.
