i was at the shore this summer when i noticed they were filming.....i guess it was for the Jersey Shore show.

I went to D'Jais in Belmar, NJ once. It was quite a spectacle. I could see that if you were part of their guido world, it would be the time of your life. On the dance floor, the dudes just dance to techno all by themselves like their on acid. And they check each other out, not the females. They compare biceps and ed hardy tshirts.


It's a strange little glitch in the matrix. But it seems to work for them all. I'm not gonna hate on them. They all look happy. But its not a place for everyone that's for sure, myself included.

you think Carson was the reason MTV was good?

truth is we need more shows like Lyricist Lounge, variety shows based on the arts of music, in the case of LL hip hop elements


i get bored just watchin videos and that aint enough to support a channel, but the shows have to have some basis on actual musicians, not just a soundtrack playin in the background. I have no problem with reality TV, but I do have a HUGE problem with these sweet 16/strictest parents/the parent dating show whatever its called it just promotes overall disrespect as hip in our culture

i hadnt ever thought of it this way but now that youve mentioned it youre definitely on to something

instead of combining volatile lifestyles, it is actually kind of interesting to watch a culture that share a similar lifestyle but do vary in personality enough to create interesting situations


unfortunately for that particular show i simply abhor that "guido" lifestyle and culture and I dont want it being broadcast in my home
