agreed. people take adult league softball extremely serious. i'm talking like basing their lives around traveling every weekend, spending a couple of grand on the newest bats, etc. i try to go out and just play for fun, but these guys just ruin it. and, i will also agree with the steroids...i'm pretty sure i have seen these guys before.

there's no place for pele shit when you're up by four with a minute left. if someone did that in a pro soccer or hockey game they probably would have gotten laid out too.

that being said, if they had gotten badly hurt you would have gotten lawsuit-pwned.

i played one season of adult rec soccer and i don't think i'm going back. WAY too many of these clowns who think they're getting called up to Man U the next weekend.

^^btw beef the info you want should be on http://www.tasl.us/ Signup for Spring. if you haven't done it before you have to pay a one time fee for a "license" then another fee for the season. all in all it was more expensive than it needed to be, probably over $100 plus i had to buy new gear b/c i hadn't played in so long, but i think it goes to pay the refs and some sort of nominal insurance.
