"Son, no one gives a shit about all the things your cell phone does. You didn't invent it, you just bought it. Anybody can do that."

after more looking, I am gonna hold out on the Droid and wait for the Nexus One- it looks like the perfect combo of that and the iPhone
12/23/2009 1:29:23 PM
yeah, me too[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 1:31 PM. Reason : i really just want a lower cell bill w/the same features.. gah]
12/23/2009 1:29:56 PM
yeah- I'm wondering how I will get the phone if they go T-mobile (or do we have that in NC now?)
12/23/2009 1:32:19 PM
we do. you can put the iphone on it already but 3g doesnt work
12/23/2009 1:34:38 PM
does the data plan work on it? I usually don't need my 3g because i'm almost always somewhere there is a network i can piggy back onI imagine it would be alot cheaper
12/23/2009 1:38:36 PM
Probably just edge.
12/23/2009 1:40:04 PM
well, it used to be a LOT cheaper..like you could get unlimited text/mms/data and i think 500ish minutes for $40/month or so. but, they changed it where you have to add a smartphone data plan now for the iphone which is $20 more..so, basically $60 for the same thing as you have on at&t right now. there are supposedly ways around having to buy that plan but i haven't done a lot of research on them yetand yea, data works fine[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 1:41 PM. Reason : also, there's a 10-15% student discount, google for it]

still works- just slower i'm also one of those people that follows the Louis CK philosophy on this... I shouldn't get pissed off about how slow my internet is on my phone because I didn't even have that option 2.5 years ago60 bucks?that still saves me like 30 bucks a month- I need to find a store and check this out... cause if I can already be in the system when Nexus comes out, it will make it much easier to make the switch (and the money I save over the next couple of months could make half the payment for the phone)[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 1:43 PM.
