i think for some it is the total opposite... more like now that i am in a relationship I am much more likely go to out to dinner with the significant other, where portions are out of control and I have no idea what kind of ingredients they are using. when i was single i would i would sit at home alone (perhaps in sweats) and eat a bowl of cereal for dinner.also, when i am out to eat with fat friends i end up getting kind of disgusted and eating less cause I just like, "man I do not want to end up like that"

Yes I am incredibly happy I've gained weight back. I love sitting on my ass and eating fatty foods. I never exercise and I only eat vegetables smothered in a processed cheese sauce. Awesome!!

I think time for working out is another factor. Unless a couple works out together, they generally have less time for the gym because of the time they're putting in with their sig. other. They're also more likely to eat out more.
