Bazingo!

it's only ok if you aren't really going anywhere of any importance on the weekend. not to work, not on a date, not really out in public, then sure do whatever the fuck you want.
1/13/2010 9:45:36 AM
you people :glare: Apropos to the topic, however, I don't wear sweaters. I just bum around in hoodies yet occasionally wear my nice wool coat (anything wrong with those?) as the occasion dictates.
1/13/2010 9:47:01 AM
If that's the case I'm probably not putting on pants let alone 2 shirts. Shit, I'll be lucky if I even put on my bathrobe. Sort of like no pants Sunday.^It's an awesome look if you're in the cast of Dogma.[Edited on January 13, 2010 at 9:47 AM. Reason : snarky comment]
1/13/2010 9:47:08 AM
Now hold up just and damned minute here. Are you saying that two shirts is now a universal faux pas or just for those who can't pull it off like fatties that make it look like it's just one multi-colored shirt anyways?
1/13/2010 9:50:53 AM
No I'm just saying that a long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeve t-shirt looks dumb. I've never liked the long sleeve underneath a short sleeve look, not with polo shirts, and certainly not with another t-shirt.
1/13/2010 9:52:31 AM
Unless you're on the cast of The Big Bang Theory, its not a good look
1/13/2010 9:53:19 AM
stick to one, or the other
1/13/2010 9:54:11 AM
Sort of off topic, but am I the only who has noticed that Penny has put on about 20 pounds and gone from a solid 8 to a middling 6.5 since that show started?
1/13/2010 9:55:12 AM
Wow, that is rather bizarre and sad. (By bizarre and sad I don't mean you, but rather this new collective derision towards a particular style choice) Who wears them under polo shirts?
1/13/2010 9:55:38 AM
everyone!(in the late 90s)
1/13/2010 9:56:20 AM
That's arguably even worseand I never thought Penny was extraordinary hot to begin with, but she has definitely taken a step backSo has Robin on HIMYM, imo
1/13/2010 9:56:59 AM
both have fallen off significantly
1/13/2010 9:57:41 AM
Robin sort of has an excuse, I believe she popped out a kid not that long ago. Some chicks don't ever really bounce back from that. I mean, pilgrimshoes's mom did, lord knows that lady is fiiiiiine. Penny on the other had just got complacent. I never thought she was super hot anyway (like I said, a solid 8), but now I don't know that I'd even call her more than slightly above average.[Edited on January 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM. 1/13/2010 10:00:38 AM
Case in point with Robin...on the episode Monday, she got behind the bar and played up her 'sexy' vibe with the slow motion and the fans blowing3 years ago, she nails that, and I bone upBut Monday ? It was just sad...she looked 38 years old
1/13/2010 10:02:42 AM
zing
1/13/2010 10:03:44 AM
On the plus side it was a Barney heavy, Lilly and Marshall light episode.
1/13/2010 10:04:50 AM
Lilly eps are the worstLike we give a fuck about your 3rd grade class
1/13/2010 10:06:17 AM
ain't a damn thing wrong with:1) sweaters in general2) sweaters over dress shirtsOP, don't be mad b/c you dress like a bum.
1/13/2010 10:06:38 AM
I like when you spill spaghetti sauce/red wine/blood on a dress shirt and you think FUCKbut then you realize the collar's still cool, so it will still work under a sweater
1/13/2010 10:07:57 AM
After getting a shirt dry-cleaned, I get an extra 2-3 wears out of it without having to iron it due to the sweater + shirt combination.
1/13/2010 10:10:46 AM
lol yeah i've got a few "sweater only" dress shirts that have stainsand yes, it's the tits not to have to iron shit but the collar [Edited on January 13, 2010 at 10:12 AM. Reason : ^do you rewear dress shirts between cleanings? that's kinda gross]
1/13/2010 10:12:28 AM
1/13/2010 10:17:48 AM
I don't roll up my sleeves for fear of sleeve intergrityI don't buy cheap sweaters and don't want my sleeves ending up like a goddamn wizard's
1/13/2010 10:19:21 AM
1/13/2010 10:21:24 AM
Anything that has direct skin contact gets washed with each wearThe one exception are my socks
1/13/2010 10:23:41 AM
thats significantly grosser
1/13/2010 10:27:02 AM
i thought it was "dudes who wear sweaters"
1/13/2010 10:28:00 AM
little late y0
1/13/2010 10:28:22 AM
^^^^So wait, do you wash sweaters each time you wear them? Or do you exclusively wear them with dress shirts underneath? I wear my non v-neck models with just an undershirt underneath and they touch my arms, but I feel no compunction about wearing them 2 or (usually) 3 times between washes unless I've gotten sweaty/dirty/spilled that day.As to C2A's rewearing of dress shirts, I can see where you're coming from, but I'd actually rather rewash something and hope it comes out of the dryer largely wrinkle-free than go the trouble of the iron touch-up. I hate ironing.*the exception is dry clean only shit, dry cleaning is expensive^^You're right [/grammar nazi][Edited on January 13, 2010 at 10:29 AM. Reason : karrotten]
1/13/2010 10:28:42 AM
^ I can see that too. For me though, I just iron once on the weekends so I'm only heating it up once and it doesnt take long at all. After the week, any shirts or pants that have only been worn once get ironed quick and ready to be re-used. Since they are hung up before being worn, and hung up afterward, its really just a quick once-over on the arms and stuff. Keeps the dress shirts from getting worn out as fast and just saves energy.
1/13/2010 10:28:49 AM
I wash my jeans about once every 3 weeks.
1/13/2010 10:30:19 AM
My sock schedule is wear day one, wear day two, beat into day three, wear day fourNo complaints thus far
1/13/2010 10:31:45 AM
^^ haha same, jeans are the one thing I let go for awhile
1/13/2010 10:32:46 AM
1/13/2010 10:32:51 AM
See, dress pants don't get done every day, usually just a quick splash of water and 10 minutes in the drier. Dress shirts get washed every time though.
1/13/2010 10:34:05 AM
My nice jeans, yeahmy weekend Silvertabs, hell no, I rock those for weeks
1/13/2010 10:34:13 AM
Haha, silvertabs. You're so black.
1/13/2010 10:35:33 AM
Sorry, Phat Farm was out of stock
1/13/2010 10:36:13 AM
im less inclined to overwash nicer jeans than bummin' around jeansid rather keep the integrity of my se7ens and citizens than the luckys and j.crewsidk
1/13/2010 10:36:46 AM
I currently only own one pair of wearable jeans. Levis 505s that I bought about 4 years ago. I had another pair of the same kind, slightly lighter wash, until I got a big ass hole in the taintular area of said jeans.
1/13/2010 10:39:14 AM
I thought when I got out of school I'd wear jeans less, but I actually wear them more often, just because they're so versatile I kind of miss my cords, however
1/13/2010 10:41:11 AM
fags. the lot of you.
1/20/2010 2:29:33 AM
I wore my new Royal Robbins sweater for the first time today.
1/20/2010 3:10:53 AM
there is no better combination than the long sleeve polo/sweater combo...maybe a bow tie mixed in
1/20/2010 8:02:36 AM
1/20/2010 11:30:55 AM
1/20/2010 11:33:01 AM
I'm the exact opposite; just-washed jeans are kinda meh/slightly stiff and I am not a fan
1/20/2010 11:39:32 AM
I don't think I'd ever date a guy that would consider wearing a sweater vest
1/20/2010 11:39:36 AM
^^^which means I do laundry waaaaaaaay more often than necessary NOBODY likes stiff jeans except you!!
