Northerners don't have cookout. Hook her up with some hushpuppies from there and a giant milkshake. mmmm

^not that it matters now, but their dinner menu is served all day saturday/sunday

i got my first scotch egg and if they hadn't put honey mustard on it, it would have been delicious. next time --- on the side.

yesterday's lunch was fun! great atmosphere in that place, nice people...i wouldn't mind going back.

You can get Firefly up north now. And depending where in the north you live you can find anything offered down here and then some.

why didn't you just take her to Cheesecake Factory

she isn't a true yankee, but she lives in a place that is more "yankee" than it is "southern" -- it's kind of an in between place.

"Serendipity in Cary."
Man I haven't been there in years but I remember going there when I was knee high to a grasshopper. Of course, I also remember when Cary Parkyway was two lanes, High House Rd. was deep in the country, and Kildare Farm was dirt out by what is now Waverly Place.

Would have been a good choice. Definitely better than a Mic-bar.
