have you never had a job?

or are you just not responsible enough to file a tax return?

either way, wow.

no, ive had lots of jobs and usually do file my taxes but the job I have now I am paid cash. No W-2 so no need to file. After graduation this year tax return filing should continue as normal.

I'd check with an expert on this, but I think you may be able to write off job-essential items like lip gloss, rubbers, and clear heels

No joke, I write off the beers and meals I have with my crew after we get done officiating a game, since we talk about football and that technically counts as job related.

I got my w2s and am ready to file, I really don't feel like waiting on a 1099 that is for like $500.

What say you TWW, go ahead and file?

How difficult is it to do your taxes yourself if you aren't using 1040EZ? I've done my own taxes since I had my first job back in high school, but I've always been able to use the 1040EZ. I own a house now and I wanna make sure I get that $8000 first time house buyer tax credit.

Regardless you won't be getting that any time soon. You can't efile for it and its taking up to several months to get it processed. Too many people were ripping off the government via efile.

I do my own taxes. This is easy because
1. I'm a grad student in mathematics, so it's a hell of a lot easier than the homework assignments I do on a regular basis.
2. I'm a grad student in mathematics, so I'm poor.

My wife, she has a masters in financial mathematics, so it would be kinda strange for me, a mechanical engineer to do it.
