beer is awful. NOBODY likes it at first. they just drink it because everyone else does and it gets you drunk. Its just a tradition that continues and at some point people begin to relate the taste with happy times and they start to like it.

I didn't like beer at first until I tasted the bread (malty) flavor in it. Then I loved it. To this day, I still dislike hoppy beers.
