I've been saying for years that I hate MD in the 2 big sports more than UNC or Duke, simply because they beat us when they shouldn't and I have been to too many games that have gotten stolen from us against MD (also some personal reasons made these games unenjoyable, but that can't factor into the competitive argument)


That being said, I won't try to argue that UNC isn't our rival- I just dislike playing MD more

Older UNC fans and players, including Roy, understand the State rivalry... newer ones? Not so much and I don't blame them... we have blown for nearly two decades now on a national scene.

Still, Fuck Duke more than anything and anyone else. And that's the good word.

BC is meh.. no one in their own city even gives a fuck about them and they have NEVER been relevant in any sport ever but hockey.

There is always a rivalry between NCSU and UNC. The UNC ppl that think there ain't a rivalry are the ones who grew up out of state and don't know anything. Anyone who says anything different don't know what they are talking about.

It's true. In days gone by, State-Carolina was the rivalry in our state.
