I was too poor to live in UT. Paying for college yourself FTL.

^Yup!I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one it has happened to. But at the time, I felt like I was so so alone in that position. And living at home with my parents and trying to make new friends suuucked. I remember I ran into this dude when the brickyard was totally empty so it was weird. We chatted for like 30 minutes, and in my head I was all excited like, "OMG, this is it! I might have made a friend in college!" I finally asked him if he stayed on campus or off, and he explained that he was 16 years-old and still in high school.

The dining hall at top was good compared to Fountain, having less people to a restroom/shower as compared to when I lived in the dorms was nice, and that it was right on Hillsborough St which made for easy walking to some places to eat/shop/some classes was okay too.But apartment living > UT times 1000
