It actually depends on who you ask with the taj mahal which is why I said uh oh. Theres a huge contreversy about who it actually belongs to. Pakistani's claim most of the islamic sites in India as belonging to them and most muslims will probably tell you the taj mahal is in pakistan.

Impressive how? New York City is a MUCH, MUCH larger scale.

I'm biased but the best looking is certainly San Francisco...

That doesn't do it justice even... looks much better in person (that's from Sausalito).

no irony whatsoever. It's inside of the fucking border of India, therefore it is in India. I don't give a shit if you think it should be in pakistian, because it's not. Pakistain is a fucking cyst attached to India, and if you're a goddamn paki that pretty much explains why all of your posts make my eyes bleed.

what does being on an island have to do with it? before 9/11 it was close, now its pretty clear.

Chicago has 4 of the 6 tallest buildings in the country. nyc has 1. Chicago is also adding the spire which will be the tallest in the us and one of teh tallest in the world. nyc has an inflated # of highrises because of a continuout forest of 19th century 20 story apartment buildings. Not impressive imo.

quality vs quanity i guess.

personally, hong kong is the worlds top followed by a combination of dubai tokyo and shanghai.

you don't seem to understand that pakistan is a country made up of muslim indians therefore pakistanis would claim india's islamic history. One of my closest friends is pakistani and i've spent lots of time with her immediate and extended family.

So this is your EVIDENCE:

Quote :
"So Taj Mahal belongs to Pakistan

Or so one of the 'heroes' in a pathetic Pakistani movie called 'Khuda ke Liye' would have you believe."

Seriously?

Tell me a REAL person (Pakistani and/or Muslim) who says the Taj Mahal is in Pakistan.

And "belongs to Pakistan" is VERY DIFFERENT from "is in Pakistan".

Are you seriously that thick?

You are giving me a lesson on Indian/Pakistani history? I studied Paki/Indian history for 12 years in school, so just stop. Congrats on having the token Paki friend... perhaps you missed where I said that I have known/met THOUSANDS of Pakis, and TENS OF THOUSANDS of Muslims?

Unless you are Bhutto or someone, I doubt you have met TENS OF THOUSANDS.

Quote :
"So this is your EVIDENCE:

that was just a quick google search. I've heard many times about how india stole a lot of islamic heritage and sites like the taj mahal.

It was actually on a travel channel show about the taj mahal where the tour guide told the people what I said about people claiming the grounds as pakistani.

Its not just one friend either. I know her family and extended family and have stayed with parts of her fatehrs family in New jersey, toronto, and Miami so I know many more pakistanis from her and not jsut a "token friend".

Quote :
"And "belongs to Pakistan" is VERY DIFFERENT from "is in Pakistan"."

You obvisouly never got an understanding of how pakistan was formed in your "12 years of education" of course on this topic some guy on the internet has 5 honorary degrees on the topic and personally knows 50,000 of the said people.

In this situation "belongs to pakistan" and "should be in pakistan" is almost one in the same. I mean really. Have you ever heard of east pakistan? kashmir? anything about the formation of pakistan from india?

Obviously, if a pakistani sypathizer was wriing an article they would write taj mahal- pakistan as it was written in this article. Even though thats not "official".

It would almost be like a palestinian claiming the al aqsa is in palestine not israel.
