To recap.

Mambagrl bitches about a bank because he relies on his incompetent mother to take care of business, which means that mambagrl, himself, is irresponsible. But that's ok, because it's much easier to blame a bank for problems that he caused himself, rather than take responsibility for his actions.

wow, what a royal fuckup. The comedy of errors here is stupendous, even for thewolfweb.

A girl who doesn't know how to change primary addresses, doesn't know how to forward mail, doesn't know how to keep a phone number, doesn't keep a stable email address, FORGOT SHE HAD A STUDENT LOAN, and is now complaining.

Dear God, you have hit an all time new low of stupidity. I wouldn't take the late penalty off either, you fucked up 10 ways to Sunday, and you deserve to get a huge hit to your credit score.

You can attempt to dispute the late fee on your credit report, but as you've stated, you never sent in the paperwork proper. Thus, the dispute will likely not go through, as you've stated.

Credit reports typically report up to three years of payments. Unless you are planning on purchasing a car or home in the near future, probably not much to worry about. Pay off the loan so its gone and you won't have to deal with this company again. They can definitely undo the 60 day charge, but they don't want to.

This would also be a good time to say for everybody (in the seriousness that is Chit Chat) get a credit report. It's free, and you will see any / all outstanding items against your name.

Compose a written complaint to the companies executive response unit.

Complain to FTC.

Complain to attorney general in whatever state they are in.

Say you sent a letter requesting the deferral two months ago.

Dispute the entries on your credit report.

Basically be persistent and do not expect a call center rep who has no authority to remove the entries to care about your problem. The company can remove anything they want from your report and in this case it sounds like you did not owe the money during that time and they were just not notified of your school situation.

Disputing things online with the credit bureaus is a waste of time, make sure to send a letter with proof you were in school and the loan should be deffered via certified mail, cite the FCRA and threaten to take action against all parties if they do not delete the inaccurate info within 30 days.

You can get this removed from your credit report if you follow up relentlessly. If this is the biggest financial problem you ever have you are gonna be ok.

I honestly don't care. If you guys want to give me the incentive, fine. I've already done everything else before. When I first came online nobody believed the story I had a snake. BOOM. i posted my snake. When the lakers won it all everyone thought I was a bandwagon alias. BOOM. I posted pics of my celebrations with lakers stuff. Then, some fools claimed I was just a fan when they got good. BOOM. I posted a pic of little teenage me outisde the staples center. After a while, I realised I was on the internet and what the internet was and who the interneters I was dealing with were. Its not in my best interest for you guys to 100% know who I am anyway.

Weird how a creditor would want to get their money back after you make it look like you're hiding from them.

I always thought you could just pay back student loans whenever you felt like it.
