^^

lol

you hate'n?

I said it to deflect the inevitable "where?" that was to follow. I also tried to say it as smoothly as I possibly could.

boy, but you sure did focus on it, huh? are you sad? would you of liked to have known immediately so you could have ran over there immediately and make as much of an ass of yourself as you are now?

for the record, i know who he is

i just find this:

Quote :
"also if you've never heard of him then you live under a rock."

to be silly when we're talking about a mid-level standup who had a show for two years

his show was interesting structurally, i just didn't find it that funny

my cousin is a design director in hollywood and works with a lot of cool people. He got to work on alias, rob zombie movies, that grindhouse movie, my best friends gf..(he designed the entire jesus crust pizza parlor), that surfer dude movie with woody harrelson and that other guy, and a number of other flicks. his most recent one though has taken him to hawaii where he is living right next to diamond head on the beach and is living a good life for like 3 months. its rough work but he enjoys it.
anyways, so he meets a lot of celebs but doesnt know everyone. he doesnt get to watch a lot of tv or go see movies, so he is sort of out of the loop.
well my aunt tells me he is down there at a party and runs into a guy and doesnt know him and asks what he does. he replies, well im on the show "the office" and my cousin is still doesnt know him, and so he says, "and i was just in a movie called the hangover."

lol, so my cousin, without knowing it, fucking met andy from the office and didnt realize it. guess that is what happens when u get to work with celebs on a regular schedule and dont know the rest of em

I met Lita from WWE in the Target in Cary once.

And by met, I mean I stalked her down in the kitchen section.

I met "Ms. Berry" for the love of Ray Jay yesterday.... she was staying at the hotel I work for. It cracked me up that she thought she was so famous that she needed an alias (something really stupid) to check in under.

I can make a thread about the hundreds of mid-level standups I've met, but I won't. You're in Raleigh, home to one of the former top ten comedy clubs. It's not too hard.

I'm not even in north carolina but if you had any balls whatsover you wouldve just been like i met chris titus at starbucks in cameron village off gates. Instead you waited about 10 hours to tell where it was as if you were preserving the exclusiveness of you being the only one who met him. All this for somebody nobody even cares about. Congrats on being a fag.

congrats on being the only one who cares

eveyone else in the thread has given one of the two correct responses

a) cool man, that's neat

or

b) fuck you, it's not a big deal

you're going off the deep end in a (and I mean this) typical stupid bitch fashion

I think this stems from some the fact that YOU REALLY DO want to meet famous people

while the rest of us really could give half a shit (unless we actually do meet someone famous, than it can be kind of cool)

to be fair

if I met daniel tosh or demetri martin out and about (which is what I doubt happened with you or Spontaneous with his "mid level comics") than I would most certainly make a thread about it

and most other people here would too

tell me that you just said "what's up" at the teeter to demetri martin and you're not going to say something about it, and I'm calling you a liar

there are very few top flight standups

seinfeld, chris rock, etc.

under that, you're mid-level

not a slight to titus, just sayin'

^^

to be fair, I didn't super recognize him either

but when I saw him my internal facial recongnition software went into overdrive. I mean my mind FOCUSED on this dude.

I was like, "who does this dude look like" I didn't actually think it was the guy, I was just like... that dude looks like SOMEONE.

and I did calculations... and I'm serious about this

I was like... slap chop guy? no... I had a fuzzy image of chris titus, but I didn't remember his name, then I went to Puck from the real world (I think, this all happened quickly, I'M SURE about the slap chop guy though) and was like no... and then I had a clear image of this dude doing stand up (even though I don't think I vocalized standup in my mind, I just had an image of this dude doing stand up... had a half baked recognition on the way and then started up the converstation with... you know you look A LOT like this one dude, without even having the guys name firmly in my mind.

his celebrity is not as strong as it once was, so he probably has this down to a science. he said, yeah, hi, I'm christopher titus, and shook my hand, and I was like, oh, hey man, what's up, and when about buying my coffee.

I later told him I was a fan (I am, I always liked the dudes stand up) and then went on my merry way.

^^

but seriously though, I know

I didn't go crazy over this dude

but there are people I would fucking LOSE IT over

one of those people (for comics) is Brian Regan

I would totally lose my shit if I met that dude.
