Shut up! Are you really moving to Hawaii? Move to Florida or Cali instead. There are more jobs and the real estate is cheap and the shopping is better and the domestic flights are shorter.

I spent most of my childhood in Florida. You merely have to get used to the humidity. Playing ball in the summer is going to be hot/sweaty regardless of where you are whether it is NYC or Florida or Raleigh. Don't be a pussy, drink some water between games.

Running outside is another thing. You cannot just go and run for 60 minutes on Florida summer day or you may dehydrate/crap/die unless you are drinking while on the run.

Yeah, the guys at the company I was visiting said I just missed the rodeo. The weather is pretty crappy today unfortunately, otherwise I'd check out a park. I heard memorial park is a good one to go run at?

yeah memorial has a little 3 mi loop. its gravel so it'll dirty your shoes up real fast just fyi.

are you staying downtown? you could go to the galleria mall. even if you're not into shopping its kind of amazing to see. i can't afford most of the places there anyway

there is a jazz bar type place with really good food called sabuca http://www.sambucarestaurant.com/

its right downtown if you're staying there

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm actually staying in NW houston near the 610 loop (sort of) since the facility I'm visiting is out this way. I drove around yesterday and it took FOREVER to get to downtown. Such a huge city....

Houston sucks balls. I find it hard to believe anyone would sincerely refute this.

clearly you did not visit the wal-mart on maui where all the fat-fuck locals were. looks pretty popular to be an obese 20 yr. old mother

aside from the fat white tourists, the white people are skinnier there
