Alarm #1 is a Sony I got in 2005 or so as a secondary, promoted to primary in 2007. Alarm #2 is an Audiovox I bought at Target about a month ago, because it was the cheapest one there. $6.99 of alarm goodness, though it's not very loud.

I don't use my cell phone because the alarm doesn't get that loud and, at home in my own bed, I will sleep through it. It usually wakes me up when traveling because I don't sleep as soundly in a strange place.

Up until 2007 I used a 1970's era Lloyd's clock radio that had the loudest, most obnoxious alarm I'd ever heard--not a beep but a constant, blaring monotone. Unfortunately the alarm stopped working, though the clock still works. (Of course I'm a pack rat and didn't throw it away)

My parents have the exact same 80's faux-woodgrain GE that BDubLS1 posted on the last page.

i only set an alarm for M W (cell phone). If I cant wake up for a 2:20 class I have larger problems.

which reminds me, trying to get on a normal sleep schedule. bed time !
