"Ragazzi's - probably the best Italian food in the state"

I hope you're joking... back in the day the Ragazzi's in Cary employed a cook that had Hep C and didn't tell anyone. A bunch of people (including me and my family) had to get a shot in the ass because of it

The owner of Casalinga is just greasy.

But the food is awesome!

Celebrated my brother's bday there last month! $600 bill

how authentic would it be if the owner wasnt sheisty and greasy?

if the restuarant is his primary income than it definitely is not authentic italian

Vic's is amazing. never been to Daniel's...will have to check it out. I also concur with Gravy...some of my favorite food in Raleigh. Cafe Luna might be the most overrated food in Raleigh.

Nina's Ristorante way up at 540/Six Forks is pretty damn good (or was good 5 years ago, last time I went)

I'm a big fan of Gravy.

FYI, they do bottomless meatballs on Sundays for $12. I'll usually put down about three plates and then ask for a fourth but then box it up and have it for lunch the next day.

Also I get a perverse pleasure when the waitress walks over and says "More balls?"

I've been told to try Piccola Italia several times, and still haven't made it over there. Gotta give that a try, too.

It was fucking horrible when I ate there a few months ago.

I would've rather gone to Olive Garden.
