We went to the same HS. Started talking when she was a freshman and I was a junior. We actually started talking on AIM first though She somehow found out my AIM sn from someone at school because she wanted to talk to me but we were never around each other since we were 2 grades apart. So she IMd me and once I found out who she was, I realized she was this hot freshman girl that I had been seeing at school

Ended up talking more at school and then asked her on our first date 8.5 years ago (exactly as of yesterday ha)

i met cody when i was dating someone else.(i found out that day he had been cheating on me)
it was at a show in charlotte, comeback kid and rise against.
i thought he was cute, but too conservative for me.
we exchanged numbers and i dodged his calls for a couple months.

one day i got sick while driving.
i pressed send on my phone to call a guy friend of mine to come get me.
i accidentally called cody (still not sure how)

he came to pick me up.
i was like wtf?

been together ever since.

I grew up in military town were people were moving in and out every couple of years. When it got to where you were ready to start dating, you knew all the locals and had a 0% chance of dating them because you've been friends forever. Your only chance was to snag a military kid before someone else did. So my girlfriend moved to Havelock in the middle of Fall semester so she wasn't in school yet, however she used to be on the swim team at her old school so she came out to practice in December. After practice I told all the guys on the swim team to back off and I called dibs. We started dating in Feb 03 and have been together ever since.

- I have a friend that cuts hair and she cut my gf's hair and basically determined that we were going to be together.
- Gf was dating someone at the time, but my friend still coordinated it so that we met each other out at a bar in Charlotte when we were all out on the town.
- Would see her around Uptown Charlotte and say hi but didn't try to make a move while she had a bf.
- Got a text from my friend that she was recently single and I tracked her down on facebook to say hi.
- Went on a date the next weekend and it's been almost two years since.

i was tracked down on facebook about 4 years ago by a girl I was friends with in elementary school who then proceeded to tell me she was pregnant and her bf would be mad at her for talking to me on there. I remember thinking 'WTF, I havent talked to you since I was like 7, what are you doing finding me on facebook to tell me that you're pregnant and why would your bf be mad?'

Anyways, after a few emails, her facebook account was deleted. Always kinda creeped me out.

DC is sort of like the Chapel Hill of cities in the sense that there are wayyyy more girls than guys, so it's pretty much like shooting fish in a barrel. However it's also tough to weed out the ones good for more than one night as well. So I got bored one fall Sunday watching football and saw a commercial for Match and put up a pic and some info on there, seeing if I could use it as a force multiplier to my current efforts. It worked too well, and I barely had to really even lift a finger before I had atleast 8-10 reasonable girl holla'ing. Went out with a couple of those, had some fun, but it wasn't that much different than just going out, except I got to screen them a little bit before hand. Then I ended up finally going through a bunch of profiles one night and saw her and emailed her (first girl I had reached out to on there that had not contacted me first). She was very new to DC, but it turned out we worked right down the street from eachother, got off at the same Metro stop, and had a mutual friend. So we met for lunch one day, both walked away grinning our ears off, went on a real date a couple days later and that was 5 months ago. We're planning on getting a place together in August. She's exactly the right amount of perfect.

actually I don't remember him from HS he FB creepered me and I had to ask my lil sis who he was. He sent me valentines shit and stuff.
I had no one to go out to see a movie I wanted to see and he was there.
the movie sucked; he was super smart.

at the time i was part owner of an event based marketing company. jennifer was working as an image and marketing consultant for a local make-up artist. she caught wind of an event we were producing and hit me up on myspace asking if she could be put on the guest list, her and a couple of her model friends. so i said sure why not, always good to have some models there.

anyway, she showed up with a couple of her girl friends. we had an instant eye fucking session. through out the night i would glance over at her and she would glance over at me. i made an effort to engage her on conversation as much as possible but i was busy that night with the event. so i made arrangements to meet her later in the week to have a couple drinks and talk business. we ended up hitting it off and i asked her out on a proper date, brunch at the NC Museum of Art. we are now married and will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary in October.

it was a party at saps852's for ncstatetke's birthday

I went alone and didn't know anyone except for saps (and just barely) and LivinProof78 who had invited me. so there I was, not knowing anyone, standing on the porch w/ my keg beer...I thought to myself, "when you can make your way in to this conversation--do it!" this cutie was talking about these bongos he had just gotten so I started talking to him about that. (LAME!)

the next day i found out he was on here and apparently my little interjection in to his conversation was enough for him to fall in love w/ me

he invited me to join their trivia team, got my number, he cooked me dinner and now we're married

I was drunk one night and playing some random game on myspace (mobsters) years ago. Helped random girl post a new pic...

Began calling, texting, chatting... 2 weeks later she made her first of 15 trips from ohio to nc. People at bada still only seem to know her as "Ohio"

I moved in with her for a month after graduation to help pack her shyte...

proposed shortly after in an airport bar named JJ's (which ironically was my Myspace Mobster nickname)...

moved her here, married a year and a half later still going strong

my freshman (fall 2001) year at state (Fumbler's sophomore) in biology lab class. we were doing some "experiment" with termites where you draw with a ballpoint pen on some paper and the termites won't cross over the ink. i was in line to get termites, he was next to me, and he was afraid to pick them up. i picked his up for him. then he used the wrong type of pen and his termites wouldn't follow the lines.

sounds really ultra lame, but i knew something was different about him. i wouldn't say love at first sight, b/c i didn't know him at all, but something felt different. i saw him at taco bell in talley after class and i waved him down or he waved me down, not sure which, and we ate dinner together.

we started dating oct 1, 2001 and we got married last june

Was TAing for E115 and she was one of my students. Thought she was cute, but didn't really pay much attention to her during the semester. The next semester, ran into her at a basketball game, asked her to lunch that week and she went. That was 7 years ago and we have been married for 5.
