well first of all the selection, harris teeter while underrated only has the basic stuff, as for at home, there's no way I'll ever be non lazy enough to keep all the fresh vegetables and stuff subway would have, better and different bread at subway, hot sandwiches, just more choices for everything

I mean really? You really do have high expectations for someone who can't fix their car. I mean, Wal-Mart packs an ass-ton of meat on their sub, but they're too far away, and they put Mayo on their subs.

Not to mention I don't eat enough sandwiches to even justify buying all the stuff that I would get on it from Subway. I choose Subway because it is convenient for me as far as location goes, its pretty cheap, and I know I like it (never tried the others, don't really care to as long as I continue to enjoy Subway)

yep thats the first one that came to mind and the chicken teriyaki, plus just all the customization, if i was committed to just eating sandwiches at home I'd bet I'd just end up eating the exact same thing ten times in a row

well i bring my lunch so i guess i can only quasi relate to the pinched for time thing

quiznos is what is near me and they have soup and salads (i guess subway might have salads). so if i forget my lunch (blah) i'll just run over there. plus i just like quiznos more than subway. i just am disgusted by subway but i got sick after eating it once so that could have something to do with it lol

i CAN fix my car. as has been addressed multiple times in my thread by myself AND others, if i get the fucking code thing reset i have to drive it at least 200 miles before inspection (i know cause i've done that before) AND IT WILL PROBABLY COME BACK ON IN THAT TIME. so thanks for the unhelpful solution. and what does fixing a car have to do with not liking a gross sandwich. Well, for someone who has high standards, I hope you don't eat Chinese food, pizza, or really anything that's relatively cheap and prepared behind closed doors.

If you want to talk about nasty, I can tell you some things that will make you think that Subway is the most sanitary thing every.

What's wrong with high(er) standards for cheap food?

I can get two slices of pizza and a drink for <$5 at Sylvia's, and that's great fucking pizza.

Hell, even a collection of McDonald's dollar menu items is better than most anything Subway would serve.

I contest that, with all other options available, anyone voluntarily eating at Subway simply has too low of standards for cheap food.

Normally I'd hate on McDonalds, but I like the one on Western quite a lot.

Any other McDonalds and I wouldn't defend them... but the Western Blvd McDonalds is quite good for fast food.

^^ once you put cheese and mayo and all that other shit on a sammich it turns out to not be so healthy after all haha. but i <3 cheese so whatevs.

i like happy meals for hangover food. no joke. that or bojangles always (well usually always) does the trick. otherwise i don't really frequent mcdonalds at all for fear of french fry and apple pie addiction.

I had a new big ass variety of thickburger at some point last year and yeah, got insanely sick and vomited shortly after. Nothing super interesting. It was probably a combination of sheer volume and idon'tknowwhatelse.

Haven't been back since.

But partly because I don't think there are any down here in Miami anyway. Maybe I'll give them/my stomach another chance when I'm back up there next month.
