I guess. Until this year I always lived in neighborhoods dominated by black people, Hispanics, Arabs, or Indians, so maybe I just haven't run into it.

i can walk to:
the mall, on the border, a grocery store, barnes and noble...very very easily. (among other places)

places i can get to via very short bike ride (walk to on a nice day)...cookout, ABC store, bar

I suppose I'll update mine to be more condo-specific:

My condo is located on a ski lake and I can walk to my fav sushi places, the ABC store, Publix, the Publix liquor store, the movie theater, an organic food store, the gym, Borders, several great restaurants, my favorite dive bar and several great clothing stores.

In addition, my neighbors are good friends and my landlord is my best friend.

Cons: I live beside a suicidal alcoholic, a couple of druggies and a $5 whore (literally).

i can walk to Crossroads 20, a ridiculous amount of shopping, a competive volleyball league, also I can run to Lake Johnson and back for a good workout, 4 miles from work, 4 miles from my favorite gym

everything else seems to be less than 20 minutes away

i just wish the beach was closer
