OH MAN! SORRY!I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE YOUR POP CULTURE REFERENCE. WHAT AN IDIOT I AM. Certainly the relevance of that reference has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he's fat and shirtless. Also, I'm not allowed to use carets to point to something I'm responding to.No.I have to know what you meant when you posted it, and I'm only allowed to respond to that. (STFU. Everything isn't a fight. Did you know that?)[Edited on May 25, 2010 at 1:35 PM. Reason : ]

Just trolling you man, relaxYou should check out TPB though -- you can watch the whole series online at youtube. Nobody actually organized it all into playlists though, and it's hard to find the parts of episodes in a row, so use this search string: "trailer park boys s01e01 part 1", for instance. It'll get you a decent quality set of episodes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKS_2qK12O8do urself a favor

i never eat burgers. ground meat is the most dangerous food out there due to potential bacteria and toxin exposure.
5/25/2010 4:32:48 PM
pretty sure eating raw chicken has more potential for disease than eating cooked ground beef

I've been eating burgers all my life. I have never once gotten any kind of bacteria or sickness from eating a burger. I'd say those are pretty good odds.

each pound of ground beef has meat from hundreds of cows in it and they even mix meats from different countries of origin. they mix frozen and fresh bits of "meat" that is scraped off bones and from who knows where else, and like everything it isn't adequately tested for safety. thats why there are outbreaks of E. coli from ground beef resulting in recalls. 53,000 pounds were just recalled less than 2 weeks ago for potential E 0157:H7 contamination. I'll take a solid piece of chicken cooked to 170° instead, thanks. I did make some awesome sammies as inspired by the grilled cheese page. toasted onion rolls, swiss, brie, grill-pan chicken, red onions, cukes, tomatos, red peppers and a little bit of creamy italian dressing. yummm!

It's a good thing I fully cook my burgers before I eat them.

Personally I am not within range of a whole foods to get grass-fed or "organic" beef or whatever you are thinking of, but slaughterhouses are slaughterhouses and I think a lot of the same risks are present. Yes, grinding your own meat is certainly a safer option, but id rather eat an expensive cut a different way than mechanically pre-chewed.
