Being a teacher isn't difficult.

Being an effective teacher is difficult.

I'm ready to move on to another profession myself

Yeah being one of those teachers that the kids actually look back on when they are older and realize that you changed their life is really hard.

Being one of those teachers that just teach, not so hard.

It all depends on how much work you put into it, especially during your first few years as a teacher.

That being said, nothing I just said is from experience, it all comes from the classes I've taken.

Yea being an effective/passionate teacher will probably get old after a while. I'm getting that Master's to get me out of the classroom one day.

My mom thinks I would be a great school counselor.

While I think I would enjoy that a lot, I've just decided that I should stick with getting my undergrad in teaching for now...it's taking me way to long to get it.

Maybe I'll go for the masters so I can be a counselor, or in administration.

I thought about doing my Master's in counseling but I'd want to do it at the elementary level and I don't think I could stand dealing all the kid drama haha. And I definitely don't have enough of a backbone to be an administrator...I'd want to be everyone's friend
