5/11/2010 2:28:59 PM
16 years and your kids are bangin mad chicks out there on the short sweet summer weekends I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.
5/11/2010 2:30:34 PM
You might want to give some thought to replacing those banisters. Something not so traditional would do a lot for that house.
5/11/2010 2:38:07 PM
^ agreed
5/11/2010 2:39:09 PM
baller.
5/11/2010 2:41:21 PM
any suggestion on what to do in the front yard? I'm thinking planting some trees/flowers, and perhaps repainting the garage door to a lighter color.
5/11/2010 2:42:38 PM
Also, if the mullions are the little fake ones that they appear to be, remove them.
5/11/2010 2:42:49 PM
get some landscapers to come and give you estimates / ideas / quotes.thank me later.
5/11/2010 2:44:20 PM
Awesome place man. Yeah the outside needs some work, but I'd much rather be re-doing a crappy landscape than some inside job like a kitchen. I'd spend most of my effort making the back yard look great first since I doubt you'll spend any time in the front. I'd also try and put in as many planter beds as you can in the front to save on the hassle/time/money of grass.
5/11/2010 2:45:09 PM
Get a landscape architect to come out and put together a long term plan for you. If you ask for something low maintenance, it will take a lot of the headaches of yardwork away.
5/11/2010 2:45:23 PM
good advice with going a professional. I want to do something that will increase the value of the house just in case I have to sell it later on.
5/11/2010 2:47:04 PM
get a hot tub.make friends with strippers.have lots of parties.
5/11/2010 2:48:47 PM
then fuck them in the video'd porn shower?
5/11/2010 2:49:28 PM
you don't fuck strippers at your house, silly.
5/11/2010 2:51:35 PM
awesome. I am super jealous. congrats.
5/11/2010 2:59:46 PM
use that $50k you saved on rebuilding that pier, ASAP!!!house is nice but fuck work get on that water
5/11/2010 3:00:07 PM
lol, the old-owner replace the pier after hurricane Ivan, only to get it wiped away 5 months later by hurricane Dennis. I don't know if you guys aware that piers are not covered by the insurance policy, so it's all money out of your pocket. I'm working on getting a pier put back up, but in the mean time, the neighbor said I can use his.

Everything looks good in the pics. I hope whoever did the stair rails inside got fired shortly after...
5/11/2010 4:20:29 PM
5/11/2010 4:38:09 PM
^^can you elaborate on the stair rails? It looks fine by me.
5/11/2010 11:27:30 PM
I think he means how the balusters don't join to the stairs themselves, which is what you normally see. like this:
5/11/2010 11:32:39 PM
yeah looks like the guy was too lazy to do them right with the carpet
5/11/2010 11:42:28 PM
that's a huge fucking kitchendo you plan on marrying a fat girl?
5/11/2010 11:42:44 PM
lol, I have no choice, the kitchen came with the house.
5/11/2010 11:49:12 PM
big kitchens are awesome. it's where everyone ultimately ends up when you're entertaining.
5/11/2010 11:50:41 PM
About the stairs, I think I will eventually get rid of the carpet and do hardwood floor. That will be a good time to change the railings also.
5/11/2010 11:57:50 PM
i love big kitchensand island stovetops tooballer.
5/11/2010 11:59:27 PM
how do you open the top row of windows?
5/12/2010 12:01:36 AM
you could probably use the step ladder to jump up there and then use your tactical knife to bust 'em open [Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:03 AM. Reason : lame cod ref]
5/12/2010 12:03:05 AM
you should build a catwalk that goes around the perimeter of the room to open those.i would.
5/12/2010 12:04:10 AM
lol, there's a catwalk where you can walk on to open the top windows. You can see it at the bottom of the top windows. The hurricane shutters of the top windows are powered by electric.[Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:05 AM. Reason : that's what they're called, catwalk]
5/12/2010 12:04:48 AM
Nice place! Now you have somewhere to keep all those watches.
5/12/2010 12:06:29 AM
seriously weird illusion in this pic. i couldn't figure out the door on the right hand side of this picture. i was thinking "that is a small pantry", until i reinspected.nice house![Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:09 AM. Reason : f]
5/12/2010 12:09:12 AM
right in the middle between nas pensacola, the airport, and eglin--hope you like planes...
5/12/2010 12:10:24 AM
^^that door is a little closet. The pantry is bigger, it's located next to the mirror door.
5/12/2010 12:12:02 AM
^^^ oh that's just the door to Narnia.[Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:12 AM. Reason : another lame reference. must go to sleep. ]
5/12/2010 12:12:32 AM
some nice houses ITT!!!so when can I come visit?
5/12/2010 12:16:23 AM
pretty sure it's all the same house[Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:18 AM. Reason : 'cept the random google image i posted as an example of normal balusters. ]
5/12/2010 12:17:48 AM
Sweet place! I would love to have a flag pole!what flag[s] are you going to fly?
5/12/2010 12:21:03 AM
talking bout jbrick's Charleston house too. Wonder if he wants to house my bachlorette party...we wanted to go to Charleston, but couldn't find a place to stay.[Edited on May 12, 2010 at 12:33 AM. Reason : u]
5/12/2010 12:22:43 AM
^^to be honest, I need to figure out how to get to the top of the flag pole to tie the string to hang the flag. If I could do that, then I guess I'll fly the US flag and the Vietnam flag, and maybe some other flags.
