I work the door occasionally at Tir Na Nog and have for about 2 years...I think I have only had to physically remove someone twice.

This. I will walk up the offending party talk to him/her privately and ask them to leave. 90% of the time people know when they have fucked up and will leave without incident.

If a bouncer blows up someone's spot in front of their friends and humiliates that person for no reason, then they are asking for a scene.

As an aside, the worst people to kick out are women. A woman gets self-righteous REAL quick.

haha...funny someone mentions that. I was denied entrance to Jackpot because I punched the window/bars or whatever really hard right before going inside. The doorman was all "whoa, you can't come in here like that" and asked us to leave.

I've seen a girl get denied at the Jackpot and there was obviously a backstory. She tried to sneak in with two other dudes. One of the guys had his arm around her with her on his left side and the other guy tried to stay in between them and the bartenders as they entered the building. They walked in and immediately hugged the left wall trying to get to the area with the booths. One of the bartenders saw her and shot from behind the bar with a pretty fierce sounding "NOT UH, GET OUT. GET OUT" while pointing at her. I always wondered what she did.

ballyhoos sports bar @ emerald isle

st patricks day festival, drank all day outside, somehow obtained two 5ths at the liquor store, went to bar after festival closed, pulled one out inside bar (blacked out by now), got thrown out, went back in through back door and kitchen, got thrown out front door again, went back to friends house behind building and passed out

never found sunglasses or battery door to cell phone

I escorted myself out of Mitch's once after throwing an asshole down the steps.

Other than that, I've only been kicked out of a bar once, and it was seriously just a bouncer being a prick.
