Rawr rawr rawr my beer is the only beer worth a damn rawr rawr rawrBottom line, the beers wouldn't be around if people didn't like the taste/price ratio. But people do, and the beer is still around.

It's probably been years since I've had a light beer of any kind, and probably since college (2004) since I had one "on purpose" (as in, actually purchased it when there was any other option). I'm pretty physical fitness minded, but if I'm drinking beer, I've already accepted that I'm doing something bad for me--if I'm going to put beer into my body, if isn't going to be Bud Light.I had a couple of Buds and a Heineken last deployment in Iraq--the only other non light-beer choice on beer issue day was Guiness, which I'm not a huge fan of except for in an Irish Car Bomb.As far as cheap domestic lagers go, I much prefer PBR or Coors (banquet beer). In summary, I don't really see the appeal of either Bud or Bud Light, but I'll drink Bud in a pinch. The only way I'd drink Bud Light is if there are no other choices besides other shitty light beers...and then I'd be much more likely to just not drink.[Edited on June 6, 2010 at 12:51 PM. Reason : ]

6/6/2010 1:33:47 PM
