There is much higher rate of STD's in males with uncircumsized penii
6/15/2010 6:56:35 PM
I've spoke on this topic many times.I believe that our generation is the last generation that will see the majority of men circumcised. In America, it is becoming increasingly unpopular to circumcise and in many areas in the US uncircumcised boys are starting to equal and in some cases out number circumcised boys. In my 7 years as a nanny, I've only cared for one set of boys who were circumcised -- the rest were intact. It is no longer a recommended procedure by the American Academy of Pediatrics and parents are beginning to question the validity of the procedure. As a woman who has had experience with circumcised and uncircumsized males, there is very little difference between the two. Once erect, they look the same and function nearly the same. The intact penis has a little extra skin that can be used to provide a bit of a gliding mechanism during a hand job. The head of the intact penis is also far more sensitive than the head of a circumcised penis. That's it from the female perspective. I don't prefer one over the other from a sexual stand point. The intact penis is not dirty, btw. It's not even a big deal to clean it. You just pull the foreskin back in the shower and let the water run over it. If you just do that, it doesn't collect funk, it's not gross, it's not anything. You wash your dick just like you wash anything else. I actually think it's ridiculous that we perform a surgical procedure so guys don't have to wash their junk. As a parent, I chose not to circumcise my son. I felt that circumcising him went against everything that comes naturally as a parent. It is my duty to protect him and that includes his penis. As a mother, it just did not make sense to me to put him through an irreversible and unnecessary medical procedure. It is not a procedure to be taken lightly. There are risks, mistakes can be made, it is painful, and it is forever. I also did not feel that I had the right to make that choice for him. I also had the knowledge that my mother circumcised her first born and chose not to circumcise her second born. My paternal grandmother made the same choices. I don't think that is coincidental. I'm just glad that I knew a number of men intact and circumcised so that I could make an educated choice and feel comfortable that I was doing the right thing by leaving my son's penis alone.

Does it affect how long a guy lasts (on average)? It doesn't seem like guys who've been snipped have any problems with the level of sensitivity ...
6/15/2010 7:25:27 PM
Which do you prefer, Skwinkle?cause that's what I am.
6/15/2010 7:28:32 PM
I don't think that it makes a difference at all, but I've never been with a guy cut or uncut who has had any problems waiting until I have an orgasm to come. My intact partner seems to enjoy oral sex *a lot* more than my circumcised partners.
6/15/2010 7:29:35 PM
Cut halfway so it's like a mock-neck instead of a full turtleI know a guy who was circumcised at 14[Edited on June 15, 2010 at 7:31 PM. Reason : ouch]

What a thing for a company to boast about!
6/15/2010 7:49:04 PM
well look there's clearly a market for itto each their own
6/15/2010 7:50:04 PM
that begs the question... exactly how many companies are there that manufacture such stuff? probably 2 or 3... not a big deal being the best among 2 or 3.btw, i won't like, i would live to try it out. just curious how it feels. however, it will be far from the true sensation. while the mechanical aspect of gliding with be there... there are no nerve endings cuz it is artificial skin, so it will feel like a weird stuck but loose condom.
6/15/2010 7:53:12 PM
WOW. Ok, I decided to do some quick googling and there are at least 10 devices out there for foreskin restoration. There's an entire Wiki article on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin_restoration
6/15/2010 8:00:40 PM
^^ I have some used ones I can give you if you want to try it out...
6/15/2010 8:01:35 PM
I read on that site where the pics come from, and it says it is not to be used for sex.You put it on in the morning, and take it off at night. After some time ranging from a week to several weeks, you will start to regain your sensitivity.Interesting... I initially thought it was for sex.
6/15/2010 8:06:08 PM
To be fair ,by not having him circumsized you pretty much still made the decision for him. I mean what sane person would go through that procedure as an adult? ouch
6/15/2010 8:27:08 PM
Actually, there are adults who have it done for religious purposes and as treatment for a few rare medical conditions. However, if no sane person who have it as an adult, why are we forcing it on children? I think that it's unethical.

one thing to add here - when they do the snip snip they take the main problem with human peniii away - the mucous membrane on the inside of the foreskin. presto, no more shmegma

The world health organization recommends getting the procedure done. It ELIMINATES a type of cancer, and decreases the spread of STIs. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29777922/ns/health-mens_health/

Optimum should start a thread concerning his recent castration, as it would help a lot of us understand more fully why he acts like a little bitch.

being cut has not impacted my life in a negative way whatsoever.although i'm sure that shit hurt like a motherfucker whenever it happened, 24 years ago.

6/16/2010 4:42:52 PM
but really, professional cleanings? explain please...
6/16/2010 4:44:06 PM
^GREEN JAY was saying that you can't call the mouth "balanced and without the need of cleaning" because "you have to get it profressionally cleaned twice a year." He was saying the mouth is a bad comparison to an uncut penis because they (uncircumcised males) don't need such professional services.I mean this whole argument is stupid but it's not that hard to follow.[Edited on June 16, 2010 at 4:48 PM. I'm cut and I still get mine professionally cleaned twice a year....At least that's what they tell me they're doing at the Asian massage parlor...

Yes, circumcision eliminates certain types of cancer. Mastectomies also eliminate certain types of cancer. If you amputate the part of the body with the potential to become cancerous, then it's obvious that your chances of developing the cancer are null.If you understand the mechanics of sex and the function of the foreskin, it shouldn't be shocking that intact males who do not practice safe sex are more likely to contract certain STDs. The foreskin is mobile during sex and the glans is not keritinized as it is in a circumcised male. There is more of an opportunity for microscopic tears in the frenulum or foreskin and irritation of the glans that can serve as a point of entry for disease. However, wearing a condom is going to give your far more protection than circumcision. The WHO recommends circumcision because of the horrific transmission rates in 3rd world countries. These are also countries where devices are marketed to women to wear internally as protection against rape and eventual HIV infection.

^^^^I know but I refuse to recognize it until she changes it on her TWW.Besides, her last comment on the usefulness of foreskin would have sounded much more hilarious coming from a man.[Edited on June 16, 2010 at 4:59 PM. Reason : d]

^ You can't change your sex on tdub.
6/16/2010 5:02:08 PM
Eh, I hate to tell you but everyone receives microscopic skin tears during sex. In fact, the depth and directionality of the tears in a female can indicated whether or not the sex was consensual.

Trolling Wood.Yes, I'm a terrible person for choosing to leave my son's penis as mother nature intended. Social services should come take him away. How dare I?And I'm hardly misinformed. I worked for over a year in public health teaching comprehensive sex ed. I think I've got it under control.[Edited on June 16, 2010 at 6:23 PM. Reason : .]
