Lowes. I can't find jack shit in Home Depot, and those Orange Smocks are there to ignore you.

The Home Depot in Crossroads has consistently been much more awesome than the Lowes across the street. Their employees were really helpful when I was working on a project last year; one guy traipsed around the entire store with me looking for random items and called in help to find them. I used to always go to Lowes but I've been converted.

#3 is my favorite
7/18/2010 12:54:30 AM
hahaha
7/18/2010 12:56:01 AM
Out in apex, both are on either side of 64 so whichever one is cheaper
7/18/2010 10:17:25 AM
#3 is so true.i have to say that the lowes i go to is pretty good on the weekend, i think they bring in extra people just to help customers. its almost like going car shopping but not as obnoxious, they stand around the front door and offer their assistance as soon as you enter.
7/18/2010 10:38:02 AM
lowes for sure. the one here has very helpful and nice employees, they actually carry the parts/stuff i'm looking for, and have a good selection. i've never found anything at home depot, although i've tried. the that amount of orange is too much for me too.
7/18/2010 10:47:32 AM
lowes
7/18/2010 1:10:39 PM

lowes.
7/18/2010 6:53:13 PM
i wish one of them would latch onto the idea of putting a goddamn automotive section in their storescall it CASA DE MAN
7/18/2010 6:56:22 PM
Aha yeah, I actually did ask a guy at home depot the other day if they happened to have motor oil.if I was at Bigman Inc, they could have made a couple of bucks
7/18/2010 7:04:01 PM
pretty good idea, actually.
7/18/2010 7:05:44 PM
i mean it's just so natural to do since they have so much crossover, i don't know why they haven't done it yet
7/18/2010 7:05:53 PM
home depot because it's closer, but if i plan on buying stuff like pretty pots, i go to lowes, muuuccccchh cheaper.
7/18/2010 8:04:05 PM

7/18/2010 10:07:49 PM
home depot and lowes are across the street from one another in cary. I pulled into the lowes parking lot, turned around, drove to home depot across the street
7/18/2010 10:10:04 PM
Lowes because it's 5 minutes away from my house. The nearest home depot is 30 minutes away.
7/18/2010 10:26:09 PM
ttt

damn, it's sad when you re-read your own post and can't figure out what you're talking about
1/9/2011 11:39:24 PM
can't say i prefer either one....you're not going to walk out of there with ice cream or a big-ass tv or something cool...can't really get pumped about buying weather stripping
1/9/2011 11:50:42 PM
Lowe's...but only because it's closer than Home Depot. Closest Home Depot is probably 25-30 minutes away. Lowe's is 10.
1/9/2011 11:52:00 PM
Between the two, I prefer Lowes. In my experience, the service is consistently better there.
1/9/2011 11:53:09 PM
Haha that comic was comical
1/9/2011 11:55:23 PM
Lowe'sI've been to both today.the ppl at HD just stood there and looked at me. the guy at lowes seemingly chased me down to ask if i needed anything.
