I got a job offer from a local engineering firm that designs radio towers. they asked me during m interview if I would be willing to climb towers if repairs needed to be done. I was like fuuuuuuuck no. Thankfully I was offered my current job the same exact day and didnt have to worry about that nightmare

I've always wondered how they do pole top rescue of injured workers on these towers. It's dangerous enough on a electrical power pole that's only 40-100 feet tall.

you can't get a helicopter beside one of these towers; the rotor blades would be too close to the tower before you could make any attempt at a rescue.
