I went pretty late and although most of the event had died down, we still had a good time. We found a new band we liked (The Ethnographers) and we saw the color wall relighting. We also enjoyed the band that played at Melvin's and people watching in general. We ate at Sylvia's and drank at Mitch's and got deafened by the dumbass who kept whistling as loud as possible at that Pack Bar upstairs (which was a huge disappointment). All in all a good Saturday. What's funny is that events like this suck until people start GOING to them and then they can build it up each year. As it stands, sitting at home, complaining on the internet doesn't help anyone. But hey, to each his own. [Edited on September 26, 2010 at 2:25 PM. Reason : iiiiiiiiiii]

Did anyone have the special Argentinian dish that Silvio was making for the festival? I talked to him a couple days ago and he said he was doing it, but he never said why, and then I ended up being too busy to go.

Thanks for the link to free music. I actually bought their CD. It was only $5! I am so happy with it - we only got to hear a few of their songs but I pretty much like every song on the CD, especially Avec Moi, Critically, Cynically, and Sincerely, the Phoenix.

the only bands I'm familiar with on the entire lineup are Sleep Control (pretty good) and Zegg (meh).
