Students really don't take advantage of the Student Wolfpack Club enough. Everyone hates on it, but for going to a few soccer/volleyball/tennis/baseball games you are guaranteed tickets AND they are better seats than the other students get. $30 a year for guaranteed decent seats for ~6 home football games and 10+ home basketball games (with the best seats) seems like a no brainer to meAfter the first 3 or 4 weeks of school so many people quit going to events that you can be at the top easily.[Edited on September 29, 2010 at 3:20 PM. Reason : I realize not guaranteed seats, but if you go to enough stuff they are]

^i always used the events as a chance to catch up on some hwk if needed

Hey, if it wasn't for the SWPC no one would show up and look bored for the first half of soccer games.Full disclosure: I was never in the SWPC, however I did occasionally show up to women's soccer games my freshman year because I was trying to bang one of the players who was in my chem 101 class.

damned if you do, damned if you don't.
9/29/2010 4:56:56 PM
Did it work?I once tried to bang a girl on the swim teamTotal strikeout
9/29/2010 4:58:10 PM
Nope, didn't work. Probably had to do more with my weak sauce game though.

i went to plenty of soccer games during undergradand they were at goddamn method road, not in the heart of campusbut i like soccer--i don't have any problem with point events, but you shouldn't be able to leave at halftime and get a point, and you damn sure shouldn't be able to do your homeworkit's an org. that's supposed to be about supporting athletics. give credit for support or don't give it at all.

What are they going to do, hire a "fan monitor" to make sure that people are actually cheering? Waste of money. Just be glad that there is some impetus for people to go to non-revenue sporting events for any amount of time.I went to a few soccer games, a couple of wrestling matches, and a track and field meet one time, but other than that it was all football, basketball, and baseball for me.
9/29/2010 5:01:27 PM
I know that monitoring activity is unreasonable, but they could at least require that you stay for the whole game.
9/29/2010 5:05:13 PM
If they forced people to stay the whole game, I would boo the home team out of spite
9/29/2010 5:08:16 PM
@pttyndalI watched the fucking group in front of me let 10 people incops didn't do shit about itI was 3rd in line when they shut the ticket windowfuck those bitches
9/29/2010 5:13:14 PM
damn that sucks. The tickets I got ended up being in section 326 which are under the scoreboard. Apparently they did add the extra temp bleachers on the South concourse but no one has said how they plan on assigning those.
