Don't worry, I am going to plant those trees that are kinda skinny yet tall and make a nice, natural, fence when you place them close together. I will encircle my property with them except for the portion facing Smath's house.

Chickens might be a good idea if they are easy enough to maintain and I won't need too many to keep a decent egg supply. Now will these chickens eat up all my grass?

Grass, gas, or ass. Nobody clucks for free.

As much as I would love hanging clothes out to dry, I can't do without a dryer. You see, nearly everything comes out of the dryer ironed (if you take stuff out when it is ever so slightly damp to the touch, otherwise if you let it dry fully it gets wrinkled), so I like having that benefit. If I dried them naturally, then I would have to use an iron, and irons use a lot of energy. For example, I usually wash 4 dress shirts together, and then I tumble dry them 2 at a time for just about 5-7 minutes, and they come out perfectly crease-free (I only buy wrinkle-free dress shirts and trousers). It would take me a lot longer than 15 minutes to iron 4 shirts.Similarly, I wash 3 dress trousers at a time and then tumble dry them all together for about 10-12 minutes.P.S. Even jeans, khakis, tshirts, polo shirts, everything comes out crease-free.[Edited on October 8, 2010 at 5:41 PM. Reason : ]

maybe a couple times a yearjeans aren't supposed to be washed very oftenin fact, raleigh denim had an exhibit at first friday last week showing five pairs of identical jeans as they had been worn for nine months by different people. only one pair had been washed, and that pair had been washed only once. ]

couple of times a year? that's disgusting imo.it is not disgusting only if you wear them twice a month.i wash each pair after about 10 uses (guesstimate... i go by how they smell from the outside). i reckon i do a jeans wash once a month or so. and i have never had any problems with fading because of that.

it's only disgusting if you're rolling around in grime once a week or if you don't wear underwear

different climates are the reason, i guess.i live in a very hot, very humid, and very dusty climate. (9 months of the year)
