What's "IPA"?This is what I found:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_Pale_Ale
10/14/2010 2:50:54 PM
thats what i thought it was
10/14/2010 2:51:21 PM
that is it.
10/14/2010 2:51:25 PM
black jellybeans are delicious.y'all crazy.
10/14/2010 2:51:38 PM
wait, you didnt know what IPA stood for?
10/14/2010 2:52:06 PM
I never knew what IPA stood for...I just knew I didn't like it.
10/14/2010 2:53:12 PM
Why would you not think that is what an IPA is??Also..I use to not like IPAs, but definitely think they are an acquired taste...so I drank a lot more of them, now I like most of them.Also...black licorice is disgusting...but red licorice is yummy. I will, however, drink some black Sambuca.
10/14/2010 2:54:06 PM
I would try it again if someone gave it to me and wanted me to try it. But if there is a bowl of jellybeans I'm probably not going to pick one out to try it again because it's not really a good thing or beneficial at all for me to develop a liking of another kind of processed sugar.[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 2:55 PM. Reason : I don't think being handed one counts as going out of my way]
10/14/2010 2:54:21 PM
Peas make me gag.I don't flip out when I see them though. I'm all "Hey, there's some peas. I am OK because they are not in my mouth."
10/14/2010 2:56:09 PM
ahahahah don't try to turn it around for the sake of being healthy.there is nothing wrong with saying you will not ever try something again.i thought your statement was completely valid, by defending it i think youve just cheapened it
10/14/2010 2:56:13 PM
sometimes red licorice tastes like soap. not always, but sometimes.[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 2:57 PM. Reason : ^^my friends dad is DEATHLY allergic to peas. they will literally kill him.]
10/14/2010 2:56:30 PM
never really liked mayoi can stomach ranch, but kickin it because of my healthy lifestyle nowlots of things like that for me latelyi try most things, but i don't like to see the onions in something
10/14/2010 2:59:09 PM
I wasn't saying that is why I am unlikely to try it again. It's just a consideration.
10/14/2010 2:59:20 PM
ahhhhhhhhhh. gotcha [Edited on October 14, 2010 at 3:00 PM. Reason : alright i really need to spend the next 3 hours or so studying. ]

pickles
10/14/2010 3:04:40 PM
I don't like mac and cheese or cheese and eggs. I haven't tried either recently, but I didn't like cheese when I was younger. Now, the smell of mac and cheese is nauseating, and I don't eat omelettes, quiche, or similar things.Oh, ya and coconut in most of its forms.Licorice is also gross (and similar flavors like anise/fennel).[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 3:15 PM. i feel like we need to bold the question and repost it at the top of each page so people know what this thread is about are you basing it on the time you tasted it years ago and have decided that you never will like it, or do you continually experiment because maybe one day you will like it?[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 3:20 PM. Your intended question is too complicated, and I will ignore itI don't like cooked carrots

I didn't know what IPA is because I don't drink alcohol. My list:AlcoholFast food (a lot of it) (gives me heartburn and makes me feel heavy and nasty for 12 hours)Mayo (and its variations)Commercial salad dressings (never purchased one)[Western] Pickles (sick); Indian pickles are good in tiny quantitiesPeanut butter, peanuts (love all nuts except peanuts)Coffee (absolutely love the smell, but don't like the taste)Sausages, hot dogs, etc.LicoriceBlue cheese (and stronger cheeses than blue cheese)OkraWasabiNasty canned/dehydrated mealsBell pepper, chili peppersTSP (Textured soya protein/soya mince)Lettuce (unless it is as dark and thin as spinach)Bitter gourdA ton of junk food which is disgustingly sweet/rich/chemicallyI have tried them several times, some I even grew up with (okra, bitter gourd, chili peppers, peanut butter), but still hate them. I would venture to say that I have tried more types of foods and ingredients than the vast majority of people on here. Trying foods is something that's on the top of my agenda whenever I travel abroad (even locally) and where most of money goes, but some things I just find nasty. The list of foods I do not eat is a lot longer, though, because there are tons of foods I do like or kind of like, but try not to eat as much as possible for health reasons.ORGAN MEATS ARE FUCKING AMAZING
10/14/2010 3:42:19 PM
IPA = YUM
10/14/2010 3:44:31 PM
I am with the blue cheese and anise flavored anything. These two are completely taste related but I do try to experiment from time to time.
10/14/2010 3:51:31 PM
Ipa beers are like redheads the good ones are amazing and the bad ones are horrid
10/14/2010 3:51:43 PM
I didn't need to say that twice[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Reason : .]
10/14/2010 3:52:05 PM
hummusI can't stand the texture
10/14/2010 3:54:49 PM
Forgot to say... there are some foods I used to not like until various stages of my life, but not any more because I tried them again. I love them now! Examples:Hated olives until age 12Hated eggplant until a few years agoHated butter (plain butter on bread) until just a couple of years agoMaybe some more, but can't think of any more.BTW, I do love a tiny amount of hot sauce on cooked meals, but my threshold is low.
10/14/2010 3:56:15 PM
You sound like a big pussyI bet you're fun to hang with
10/14/2010 3:58:37 PM
I LOVE cheese and dairy products. Unfortunately, my body hates these foods.
10/14/2010 4:00:58 PM
this thread isn't about foods you do not eat.this is about foods you do not like the taste of.and if you don't like the taste of it, do you ever plan on trying them again, or do you "know" that you will never ever try them again. and im about to derail it for a sec 0EPII1do you like organ meats just for the nutrient value? (not being mean, just making an assumption based on observations. plz to be truthful. i could be very wrong)and do you like them better than regular meats. say a tender delicious steak, seasoned perfectly vs a boiled liver....which one would you eat?[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 4:08 PM. 10/14/2010 4:04:25 PM
when I hear organ meats, I think of gout.
10/14/2010 4:07:26 PM
i dont like the taste of brussel sprouts
10/14/2010 4:08:34 PM
This thread kind of reminds me of Freaky Eaters. I am the least picky person when it comes to food. I can only think of one food that I don't like and will not eat: stewed tomatoes. I have tried them recently and I still do not like them. I tend to try almost anything...yet haven't found much that I don't like or will at least tolerate if there are no other choices.http://tlc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=2.1213.56291.40514.x[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 4:09 PM. I didn't like cheese, but pizza's an excellent ambassador. Now, I love cheddar and jack cheeses.I didn't like hummus, but it's not so bad, especially with warm pita.
10/14/2010 4:09:15 PM
^^that show looks awesome
10/14/2010 4:09:47 PM
Oh, it is. The first episode I watched was about the chick that ONLY ate French Fries and had somehow convinced her daughter that she only could eat french fries too.The way they got her away from only eating FF was they started by dying the FF other colors (red, orange, green, blue) to convince her that things not always tasted the way they looked.
10/14/2010 4:12:33 PM
IPA is a food?Awesome. IPA for dinner!!!
10/14/2010 4:14:21 PM
There was one dude on FE that would only eat raw steak...it was odd.
10/14/2010 4:19:56 PM
^^ If I can drink wine for dinner every now and then, then IPA is definitely a dinner item.[Edited on October 14, 2010 at 4:26 PM. Reason : j]

HOW COULD ANYONE NOT LIKE RANCH?!?!?!?!?!!?JOIE
10/14/2010 4:28:37 PM
^^Do you not get gout from eating all those organs frequently?
10/14/2010 4:37:56 PM
that was my thought, too!!!]
10/14/2010 4:39:27 PM
Sounds like I eat them regularly, but it is only a few times a year.
10/14/2010 4:40:32 PM
I want to try them but I am afraid of the physical repercussions.
10/14/2010 4:41:25 PM
Physical repercussions? What's gonna happen? They have nothing to do with diabetes. If you are completely inexperienced in organs (yeah, that sounds dirty), don't ruin it by making them yourself. Go to a French/Spanish/Italian/Eastern European/Scandinavian restaurant and try something. Even Arab, Turkish, and Greek places would have some organ dishes.
10/14/2010 4:45:19 PM
not the diabetes part...the gout part. I am afraid I will really like them and not be able to control myself. no joke.
