Therefore he became ours. Also we did drive around looking to see if anyone looked like they were looking for a kitty. No one was[Edited on November 11, 2010 at 9:47 AM. Reason : ,]

If I find an untagged child in the mall with no clear guardians in sight seems like free game to me.

i found several children without collars on while i was cruising the mall.so i took a few home, and looked them over, i saw one that was looking ok so i kept him cause chicks dig a responsible guy. then i took the rest and put them up for adoption at the pound

^^^^lol, funny. But seriously, cats are property, people are not. We banned that a century-and-a-half ago...

and yet if a parent loses their child its considered their property until it reaches a proper age of maturity

Has he been fixed?

Seriously though, if he's healthy, pest-free, and has been fixed, he probably belongs to someone. Maybe his owners haven't started looking for him yet because he hasn't been gone long. We had a cat when I was a kid that would disappear for days and we wouldn't start to worry until after a week if we hadn't seen her. It would suck if you got overly attached to this cat and signs started getting posted by a little girl looking for her lost kitty

He has not been fixed. To be honest I disagree with keeping "outdoor cats" especially in this weather. The night he found us it got down to the mid 30's and the low 40's the next night. Then you got the predators, hawks, dogs, other cats ect. If you truly care for your cat keep him inside. All the cats we had when I was little during the day we would let them go out side if the wanted. but they had their collars on and were chained so the couldn't leave the yard. When they were ready to come back in or when it got to dark we would bring them back in. Yeah I know they got fur and all but that only goes so far and he is still a baby. We put out found kitten signs but as many strays as I see here in Dunn I don't anticipate getting a phone call. Now enough trolling. On with the Kiteah Names

srsly, though, enjoy your kitty. he looks awesome, but do it with a clean conscience. put up at least one poster, dude. my niece has a kitty that looks just like that and his name is Mr. Bojangles. Bo for short.
